Following on from the Joy Breath and Meditation Workshop, this workshop extended for young people is focused on self-empowerment and enhancement of life experience by taking the sting out of the transition to adult hood. Young people today are faced with alarming amounts of pressure to confirm and relentless bombardment of life through social media and technology in a way that I cannot imagine being sustainable in the longer term. There is a growing number of young people suffering from mental health related issues that include anxiety and depression and the number of suicides in this age group is an indication that we need to show young people that there is another way. We will look at how paying attention to their breath can really let them know instantly where they are at. We will work through a Transformational Breath® mini session to help release tension and stored emotion and create relaxation, use practical meditation and relaxation exercises to help with an overactive mind and support ease with sleep.
