The morning preparation
This morning mediation is designed to be used regularly to prime you to be in the best physiology, mental and emotional state to start your day, be productive and have a positive can do mindset!
Metta Bhavana
Metta Bhavana or loving kindness meditation is the use of 4 phrases repeated over and over again whilst visualising the phrases and loving energy showering over the person to whom the energy of loving kindness is directed. Doing this practice helps us to relax and connect to ourselves and the world around us in a feel good space. Studies have shown that by consistently having a loving kindness practice over a 9 week period we will organically raise the ratio of positive and feel good emotions that we are experiencing. So give it whirl and see how it feels to share the loving vibes especially at this time of separation.
a moment of stillness
A beautiful meditation to help create reconnection, protection of energy and relaxation at any time of the day so that you can find your centre again before moving on with your day.
14TH JUNE 2021 - THE HO’OPONOPONO HEALING MEDITATION
This version of a more modern day practice is inspired by the teachings of Dr Hew Len who has widely shared the benefits of “cleaning” (as he refers to it) the sub or unconscious mind though the practice of ho'oponopono. All beliefs, thoughts, actions, emotions, and motivation for behaviour are held in the unconscious mind and will influence how we see and interact with the world. When these interactions are driven by experiences from the past that have caused us to feel limited or cut off from our divine nature we will be limiting how we are able to experience life. By taking part in the practice or prayer of ho'oponopono we can restore the balance in favour of connection with our divinity and the extent of the experience in life we are supposed to be having.
You can use this process with any person that you have been having a challenge with, whether or not they are in your life at this time. You can also apply it to a situation that you are having difficulties with. You may have seen the ho'oponopono phrases listed in a different order. I use this order as a preferred sequence:
I am sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you
These phrases are not meant to be an act of acceptance that any wrongs that have been done to you are ok. They are said by way of apology to the divine aspect of yourself that knows that despite challenges and the hardships of life, it is ok for you to continue to carry yourself in the highest way you know how because living your divine purpose is your birth right. Any actions that you have taken that are less than this inner knowing are now being corrected through the meditation/prayer.
